Youth Mentor Ministry

Thank you for your interest in CFC’s mentor ministry for our middle and high school students. This ministry allows you the opportunity to pick up your mentee at the child’s home and spend time engaged in activities you both enjoy. Outings can range from going for a walk, making arts and crafts, taking a bike ride, or grabbing ice cream. Volunteers spend at least eight hours with their mentee each month, typically in the evenings or on the weekends. We ask for volunteers to commit to at least 12 months in this ministry. You may be asked to attend a brief workshop for the students every other month (topics include emotional intelligence, time management, planning for college/financial aid, resume writing and interviewing skills, professional etiquette, financial planning, and conflict resolution). Once you submit the application, we will be in contact within 5 business days to give you additional information and talk to you about the process. **Applicants must be a member of Carmel Friendship Church to participate**
